Brittany Fornof

Brittany FornofBrittany Fornof is a 22-year-old senior at Rollins College, pursuing a Bachelors degree in political science with honors and a minor in English.

A member of Delta Zeta sorority, Brittany enjoys volunteering at the Depugh Nursing Home, performing on the piano and playing bingo with the residents. As a Miss America titleholder, Brittany has spent hundreds of hours promoting her platform, The Youth Vote: Voice Your Choice, which focuses on voter registration, education, and motivation. Her efforts to increase student participation in the 2008 presidential election have received several accolades, including: Florida Public Relations Association’s Grand Image Award. As a former Florida State Science & Engineering Fair (SSEF) participant, Brittany now serves on the Board as the Student Mixer Committee Co-Chair.

Brittany’s professional background includes several years in public relations, marketing, media relations, and journalism, serving as the Coordinator of Rollins’s Student News Bureau and as a writer, editor, and Editor-in-Chief of Rollins’ newspaper (The Sandspur).

Brittany is passionate about promoting women’s rights and equipping young women with the knowledge and resources necessary to live a happy and fulfilling life. In her spare time, she enjoys dining out with friends, browsing magazines, reading Shakespeare, playing Scrabble, and spending time with her Maltese puppy, Sofie. | 407.754.5268
