The New Year always brings new hope. No too long after the last bottle of champagne has been popped resolutions are made. Some we know we will never keep, but that doesn’t stop us from making them. We tell ourselves this year will be much better than last year. And it is that hope and that faith that keeps us going day after day until next New Year’s Eve. The stories in our January issue showcase the aspirations our writers have for 2012.
